Funding Pips Review 2026: Is This Prop Firm Worth Your Money?
Funding Pips has emerged as one of the most prominent names in prop trading since its 2022 launch. Founded by Khaled Ayesh, a Jordanian-born finance graduate who built the company from Dubai at age 26, the firm now claims over 2 million traders and $200 million in distributed payouts. But rapid growth does not automatically mean reliability. This review examines every angle — pricing, rules, payout mechanics, and red flags — to help you decide.

Pros & Considerations
Strengths
- Industry-low entry price — $29 minimum makes prop trading accessible to virtually anyone
- 100% profit split achievable via monthly payout option or Hot Seat tier
- No time limits on evaluations — removes pressure and allows optimal setups
- Strong 4-tier scaling program from $5K to $2M with defined milestones
- Multiple platform support — MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker
- Instant funding option via Zero program eliminates evaluation entirely
- Large, active community — 214K Discord members and 850K+ total followers
- Verified payout track record — $167M+ independently verified via Payout Junction
Considerations
- No financial regulation — zero regulatory oversight means no external recourse
- Hidden funded-account rules — critical restrictions only surface after evaluation
- Trustpilot suspension history — June 2024 suspension casts doubt on review authenticity
- Recurring payout denial complaints for alleged reverse trading violations
- Hedging completely banned across all account types
- Trailing drawdown on Zero combined with no weekend holding makes it exceptionally strict
- $10 flat withdrawal fee erodes small payouts disproportionately
- All trading is simulated — traders never touch live markets
Funding Pips was conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic when Khaled Ayesh, a Jordanian-born finance graduate and professional gold trader based in Dubai, identified systemic problems in the prop trading industry — lengthy payout cycles, opaque rules, and poor trader treatment. He incorporated ANKH PROP – FZCO on August 25, 2022, in Dubai's IFZA Business Park free zone, with co-founder Erkan Y.
The firm publicly launched on February 9, 2023, initially partnering with BlackBull Markets as its brokerage provider and offering evaluations on MetaTrader 5. Growth was immediate: the accessible pricing model and aggressive social media marketing attracted traders from 195+ countries within months.
The first major crisis hit in February 2024 when MetaQuotes revoked MT5 licensing for prop firms serving US clients. Funding Pips lost its primary platform overnight. The firm responded by migrating to Match-Trader within weeks and adding cTrader by March 2024, resuming US client services.
Throughout 2024, the firm crossed significant milestones — surpassing $100 million in total payouts and reaching over 1 million registered traders. However, the June 2024 Trustpilot suspension created reputational turbulence. The profile was reinstated after reviews unrelated to genuine experiences were removed.
In 2025, the firm entered a maturation phase. MT5 was reintroduced in March. In August, the appointment of Andria Evripidou — a former FCA Senior Policy Advisor with a Cambridge economics degree — as Group Managing Director signaled a shift toward institutional governance. By late 2025, Ayesh launched Tradin, a separate brokerage platform, expanding his entrepreneurial footprint beyond prop trading. As of early 2026, Funding Pips claims over 2 million traders and $200 million in payouts, positioning itself as one of the largest prop trading firms globally by volume.
